The Challenge
Papin's Resort is a family-run cabin resort carved into the timbered shoreline of Lake Huron's Scott's Bay on Drummond Island. With 16 cabin styles, boat rentals, fishing, and ATV trails, they had a lot to showcase — but their online presence wasn't doing the property justice. They needed a site that captured the feeling of being there and made booking easy.
What We Built
We designed and developed a WordPress site with an earthy, nature-oriented aesthetic — sage greens, warm golds, and cream tones that reflect the Northern Michigan landscape. The site walks visitors through cabin options (from couples retreats to the 13-person Big Pine), highlights activities like walleye fishing and Drummond Island's 60+ miles of ATV trails, and provides clear booking paths. Every detail was designed to feel warm and welcoming, just like the resort itself.
